في دهاليز الذاكرة، هناك عقود لا تغيب عن البال.. من عام 1370هـ حتى 1399هـ، أعوامٌ حفرت أسماء أبطالها في القلوب قبل السجلات، أبطالٌ ساروا على طرق الحلم بأقدامٍ حافية أحياناً، وقلوبٍ مملوءة بالعزيمة دائماً.
In the corridors of memory, there are decades that never fade... From 1370 AH to 1399 AH, years that engraved the names of their heroes in hearts before records — heroes who walked barefoot at times but always with hearts full of determination.

كانوا جيلًا عاش بين التحول والانتقال، شهدوا الأيام التي كان فيها التعليم كُتّابًا على الحصير، وشهدوا ولادة المدارس الرسمية. جيلٌ حمل الماء على ظهور الحمير ليروي أرضه، ثم رفع رأسه ليسمع خبر اكتشاف النفط يغير وجه المملكة.
They were a generation that lived through transformation and transition; a generation that studied on mats in old kuttab schools and witnessed the birth of formal education. They carried water on donkeys’ backs to irrigate their land, then lifted their heads to hear the news that oil had been discovered — changing the face of the Kingdom.

أحداث صنعت ملامح هذه الأعوام:
Key events that shaped this era:

• 📜 1373هـ (1953م): وفاة الملك عبدالعزيز وبداية عهد الملك سعود.
  The death of King Abdulaziz and the beginning of King Saud’s reign.
• 🏫 1379هـ (1960م): افتتاح أول كلية جامعية في المملكة.
  The opening of the Kingdom’s first university college.
• ⚙️ 1382هـ (1962م): إلغاء الرق رسمياً في المملكة.
  The official abolition of slavery in the Kingdom.
• 🛢️ 1389هـ (1969م): تصدير النفط بكميات كبيرة لأول مرة.
  The beginning of large-scale oil exports.
• 🕋 1392هـ (1972م): توسعة الحرم المكي الكبرى.
  The major expansion of the Holy Mosque in Makkah.
• 🛡️ 1393هـ (1973م): مشاركة المملكة في معركة أكتوبر وحظر النفط.
  The Kingdom’s participation in the October War and the historic oil embargo.
• 💡 1395هـ (1975م): إطلاق أول خطة خمسية للتنمية الاقتصادية.
  Launch of the first five-year national development plan.

أعمار من عاشوا تلك الفترة اليوم:
The ages of those who lived that era today:

• مواليد 1370هـ (1950م) أعمارهم اليوم حوالي 75 سنة.
  Those born in 1370 AH (1950 CE) are about 75 years old today.
• مواليد 1399هـ (1979م) أعمارهم اليوم حوالي 46 سنة.
  Those born in 1399 AH (1979 CE) are about 46 years old today.

جيل الأبطال الذين عاشوا تلك الحقبة تتراوح أعمارهم الآن بين منتصف الأربعينات وحتى منتصف السبعينات… ما زالوا بيننا، يحملون قصصهم وذكرياتهم، يبتسمون حين نحدثهم عن شبابهم، وربما تدمع أعينهم حين يتذكرون صعوبة الطريق… لكنه كان مليئاً بالكرامة.
The heroes of that era are now aged between their mid-40s and mid-70s... They are still among us, carrying their stories and memories, smiling when we remind them of their youth, and perhaps their eyes glisten with tears when they recall how tough the road was — but it was always filled with dignity.

نورة تقول:
هؤلاء الأبطال ليسوا مجرد ذكريات… إنهم جذورنا التي تقوينا في وجه الحياة.
These heroes are not just memories... they are our roots, giving us strength to face life.

كل وجه منهم، كل يد مجبرة، كل تجعيدة على جباههم… حكاية بطولة حقيقية، صامتة، عميقة.
Every face, every calloused hand, every wrinkle on their foreheads... tells a tale of true, silent, deep heroism.

فلنرفع قبعات الامتنان لكل بطل عاش بين 1370 و1399هـ… بطل ربما لم يكن مشهوراً… لكنه كان عظيماً.
Let us tip our hats in gratitude to every hero who lived between 1370 and 1399 AH... a hero who may not have been famous, but who was truly great.
